AgentMVP Privacy Policy

- Your reminders, bills, notes, lists, contacts and goals are stored on your phone, not on our servers.
- When you chat, your message is sent to Google's Gemini AI (paid tier) to understand it. It is not used to train Google's models, and we don't store it.
- No ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and we never sell your data.
Who we are
AgentMVP is an app made by an independent developer. Questions or requests: support@agentmvp.app.
Data stored on your device
Everything you create in the app — reminders, bills and payment history, goals, lists, notes, contacts, workouts, chat history and settings (including the display name and "about me" you enter) — is saved in the app's private storage on your phone. We do not run a database that holds this information.
Android may include app data in your device backup to your Google account if backup is turned on in your phone's settings. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings.
AI processing of chat messages
When you send a chat message, the app sends the following to our server at api.agentmvp.app (hosted on Cloudflare), which forwards it to Google's Gemini API so the AI can understand what you asked:
- the message you typed or dictated, and your recent chat history in the app;
- a short snapshot of related app data so the assistant can act on it: your display name and "about me" (if set), the names and item counts of your lists, the names and targets of finance goals, and the names, amounts and due days of unpaid bills.
Our server passes this through and does not store the content of your messages. Google processes it under its paid Gemini API terms, which state that prompts and responses are not used to improve Google's products. Google may keep data for a limited time for abuse monitoring and legal purposes, as described in Google's Gemini API terms.
If the AI service is unavailable, the app uses a built-in parser on your phone instead, and the message is not sent anywhere.
Voice input
If you use the microphone, your speech is turned into text by your device's speech recognition service (on most Android phones, Google's speech services). Audio is handled by that service under Google's Privacy Policy. AgentMVP does not record or store audio. The resulting text is treated like a typed message.
Install ID and usage limit
On first launch the app creates a random identifier for your installation. It is not linked to your name, email or Google account. Our server uses it to apply a daily limit on AI messages; the daily counter is deleted automatically within 48 hours.
Feedback you send us
If you use "Send feedback", we store your message, the email address you choose to include (optional), the app version, the screen you were on, your install ID and the time. We keep feedback for up to 12 months to fix bugs and improve the app, and then it is deleted automatically.
Technical and security data
Like any internet service, Cloudflare processes network information such as your IP address to deliver requests and protect against abuse. Our server logs record technical details (for example, which AI model answered and error codes) but not the content of your messages. All connections use HTTPS, and our AI access key is kept on the server, never in the app.
Notifications
Reminders and check-ins are scheduled locally on your phone. We do not use push notification services or send notifications from our servers.
What we don't do
- We don't show ads or include advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We don't sell or rent your data, or share it with anyone except the service providers described above (Cloudflare and Google) who process it to run the app.
Deleting your data
- On your phone: Reset app data in the app menu deletes your reminders, bills, notes, lists and other content. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device.
- Feedback: email support@agentmvp.app and we will delete feedback you sent.
Children
AgentMVP is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app.
